WHEN THE MONEY WON"T "HYDE" (Hyde not Hide)


Keeping one's ear to the ground, would tune one to the recent happenings within our own sphere. I was recently inboxed to do this! With the serious twists in my favorite t.v series "Devious Maids", one would think he has seen it all. "blaaaaaaa...", Tope would say "No one sees it all". There is a new series in town and its breaking the "Box", haunting Nollywood, its the "HYDE NOT HIDE" series! Did you just shout heyyyyy! Guess you did too. It stars Africa's most wealthiest, Ace actress "Diezani Alison Madueke"


Sister, abeg, don't mind them o. Is it that small money that they are shouting about? They may kill themselves when they see the others small chunks floating in some big banks o.. But sister, they say its that missing $20 billion oil money o, i told them you are helping them invest it! Anyways, I think we should start celebrating because Oga Dangote is no longer the richest again... Obviously, you are! I know you are not scared, or are you? What about Abdulrasheed Maina and the pension scam, or is it Stella Oduah, they were freed at last!

HYDE not HIDE

Strolling down the open park
with all the green bags they can pack
smiling as the toothless dogs bark
they better watch their back

with the new sheriff in town
some already wear the big frown
with costly human lives as crowns
who says fishes won't drown?

What a perfect place to hide,
Billions in an antique priced house
by the neighbourhood of Hyde
in Lamoille County jail's blouse

with the ravens flying low
i'ts too late to go slow
with all the heavy-weighted blow
what if they stop the flow

Sweet the pleasantness
hovering after the dreams
of Nigerian jails

When the money won't Hyde
angry faces on the other side
who will deliver thee from this tumultuous tide
definitely not Dangote, bruised wealthiest ride

The Darkest Phase of a Man's life can't be shared even by his wife, divided by bits with the sharpest of knives. It is meant to be borne by him and I mean him alone.
