If Clothes Could Talk!

Image
Morning to you. Sincerely sorry, I couldn't get to you this fast, the perks of coding or programming... I did meet an inspiring damsel who milked the juices and shouted Fashion! As an inquisitive thinker that you are, I know you have wondered how fashion came into being. Well, Guts must be involved. Imagine; A man sits down and decides to help his scissors make sweet love with the fabric, and a design is the offspring. Naaah! It doesn't end there, he gets some sweet scrawny beautiful kids to wear those pieces (Must they all be Sexy, that should be the idea of it all) for FREE and walk around (No wonder, they want flawless skins, who wants skin diseasese? Oops, did i just say that? ). Someone notices it, likes it and orders for a piece to outshine some at a function. Funny enough, they love it at the function and it goes viral....But a generation later, everyone trends the style. What if the clothes could talk, telling you the things they pass through; you'll hear so...

Haaaa! The DEVIL is WHITE; BLACK is DOOMED

Image
Growing up as kids, we all knew the Devil's favourite colour was black or perchance we assumed it. I watched a movie during the week and it casted the devil wearing black. Definitely, it got me brains dancing to a new reasoning. What colour is the Devil? Album cover of THE DEVIL

CODE OR DIE

I heard that phrase from my brother and it still piques my mind... "Code or Die"..nahh no one is going to code or die now, BUT hey...

WHEN THE MONEY WON"T "HYDE" (Hyde not Hide)

Image
Keeping one's ear to the ground, would tune one to the recent happenings within our own sphere. I was recently inboxed to do this! With the serious twists in my favorite t.v series "Devious Maids", one would think he has seen it all. "blaaaaaaa...", Tope would say "No one sees it all". There is a new series in town and its breaking the "Box", haunting Nollywood, its the "HYDE NOT HIDE " series! Did you just shout heyyyyy! Guess you did too. It stars Africa's most wealthiest, Ace actress "Diezani Alison Madueke"

PROVERBS 32

Image
The words written by King Aje to his Son...  There is an evil I have seen under the sun, a beautiful woman with brains and character! How do they want us to cope? image by Brian Morrison Who can find a sumptuous woman, with degrees in sensuality and sexuality? Her mates envy her for she has a diploma in humility and knows the dexterity of feminism When she cooks, Heaven is at attention, When she handles thebooks, even Professors are in confusion, for she is a marvel. Her pride is in the works of her hands, independently dependent of anyone, shopping with skillful reserve that thy card be not red! Who wouldn't want her to him wed? Behold, her neck as long as her ambitions, slender and sleek as the narrowly hidden treasures we seek, so is her aura, shining on this convention. Forget not the taste of her nipples, Fear not the curves of her behind, Hail her gift for causing heart throbbing ripples, when thy lips in kisses bind. My Son, wheneve...

PRINCIPLES

Image
I was at the PLATFORM on independence with my heart in my mouth, my senses on alert and my pen romping miss book. Listening to the likes of Bolanle Austen-Peters, founder of Terra Kulture, that same Terra Kulture; Prof.Pius Adesanmi the internationally acclaimed winner of the inaugural penguin prize for African Writing on his book " You're not a Country, Africa " ( you can check theplatformnigeria.com for the speakers and their massively intimidating C.V) . This struck my mind like the Greek god Thor....PRINCIPLES At the bane of Nigeria's present tantrums are principles and structures. you've probably thought to yourself 'Oh, I know that!' or 'That's so obvious....". OK, let's leave the structures for the government and deal individually with principles. What are Principles? that definition should be utterly left to you reading this post. you'll definitely agree that the basic "common man" in Nigeria (I really dislike t...

TGIF! what?

Image
I get to hear that flying, hugging, sweet stress relieving phrase every week, and i guess it's beginning to bore you as it bores me too. Common, who doesn't feel the adrenaline spiraling down their spine as CLOSE TIME approaches, with the guys making calls for the weekend ( You dare not forget the EPL!) and the ladies hooking up for the red carpet events and parties. one gets to really wonder, if they are "TGIF"ing because they worked hard or because they are lethargic. Anyways, I bet the latter! Clearly, there are two schools of thoughts. The ones who worked hard through the week and need to unwind after meeting targets, achieving deadlines coupled with the ever self attaching traffic (Traffic in Lagos must be PMS -its unpredictably terrible). This crew, which i know you belong to, needs rest because  they worked well and can't wait even wait till Monday - maybe because they are passionate about their jobs, goal driven or they have a spouse who is the zonal ...
