DARK TIMES
The Darkest Phase of a Man's life can't be shared even by his wife, divided by bits with the sharpest of knives. It is meant to be borne by him and I mean him alone. For some people, it is that time when they lose someone so special, probably a parent or a dear friend and no help seems to come in the form of the proverbial silver lining in dark clouds. It could be the health issue, that integrity-related problem, the non forth-coming college admission,capital-raising funds, who to love or what next to do in life.
Regardless of the form in which it occurs, every one must face it -head on! The response to that phase is consequential to the outcome of the man; its like the furnace in which crude oil is refined, the hotter the temperature, the difference in what product emerges. Like Jesus in the period of pre-cruxification who felt alone and helpless, he tried everything to push it away, yet when he resigned himself to fate that was when he faced it head-on like a raging bull and the rest story you already know. It is quite crucial to note that this phase is the making or unmaking of the man..It is the twist, that suspence in your award-winning story of life.
How Do You Survive this phase?
- Accept it whole-heartedly! You are in it, enjoy it even if it doesn't seem enjoyable
- What lessons do you ought to learn in this phase? That should be paramount in your subconscious sincerely.
- No one would help you! Haha, I got you didn't I? If you are still soliciting for help at this stage, hmmmn..Even Jesus was forsaken by God -Nevertheless, commune with God.
- It won't kill you. It wasn't meant to kill you, it was meant to make you stronger or weaker -the choice has always been yours.
- Remember, it seems like forever but it doesn't last forever! The sun would shine soon, if you don't weep your eyes and make them swollen that you can't see the sun when it shines.
- Seek counselling and support from people who successfully scaled through their own phase
